United Parking Systems joins the walk for The Weekend of Hope
Phoenix, AZ (November 10, 2009) – United Parking Systems is proud to sponsor Rachel Robbins as she joins thousands of other men and women to walk 60 miles through our community for the Breast Cancer 3-Day weekend of hope. This is a weekend to honor the lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote cancer research, and help bring breast cancer care to those who need it. Net proceeds from the 3-Day weekend will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure to fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs. "Having lost a sister to breast cancer, our support of Susan G. Koman has special meaning. We are so pleased that we are in a position to continue our support even in these difficult economic times" said Nestor Padilla, Co-Owner of United Parking Systems.
United Parking Systems Helps AIDS Walk Phoenix beat last year's record
Phoenix, AZ (October 2, 2009) - Joined by family, friends, and even pets, our Associates all came together to raise money for AIDS research and treatment by walking in this years’ AIDS Walk. Not only did we walk, but we encouraged others to help raise both HIV public awareness and much needed funds for 16 benefitting agencies. Team United Parking raised over $6,400 for this great cause, placing 4th for the amount of money raised.

Special Olympics' goal is to empower the over 180,000 Arizonans with intellectual disabilities to be healthy, productive, and respected members of society through our year-round sports training, competitions, and support programs.
